All About Lee

Sullivan (Lee) F. Marsden practiced as a Certified Public Accountant from 1979 to 1993, specializing in tax preparation and representing clients before the IRS. Lee continued his education at Vanderbilt University, graduating from law school in 1989.

 

Currently, Lee represents award-winning musicians, university professors, doctors, lawyers, families and businesses, as well as estates and trusts. He provides advising, planning, and preparation services in all tax matters (including before the IRS and in court), as well as in related matters which include businesses, estates, probates, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.

1979- 1993         CPA, California and Tennessee

1986-1989          Vanderbilt Law School

1994                    Prevailed in Hall v US, a case which extended the federal estate tax deduction for

                             bequests to a surviving spouse.

2003- Now          Interim teaching of Income, Estate and Gift Tax class at Nashville School of Law

2006-2007          Helped coach University School of Nashville Mock Trial team which advanced to

                             Tennessee State Championship

2012-2013          Tutored Math to inmates in Davidson County Correction Facility
