Sullivan (Lee) F. Marsden practiced as a Certified Public Accountant from 1979 to 1993, specializing in tax preparation and representing clients before the IRS. To be more effective in his practice, he attended law school, graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1989. His current services continue to include representation in all tax matters, both before the IRS and in court, tax and business advice, tax preparation and planning, estate planning, probate (including advice about avoiding probate), preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.

Current and former clients include award-winning musicians, university professors, doctors, other lawyers, families and businesses, as well as estates and trusts.

INCOME TAX PLANNING & PREPARATION

Services for this also include tax return preparation and handling audits & appeals before the IRS, State and local tax authorities and litigation.
 

PROBATE MATTERS & ESTATE PLANNING

These services include estate planning, preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Living Trusts, administration of estates, business succession planning and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

REAL ESTATE

Assistance with purchasing or selling real estate, including Deeds of Trust, title searches, zoning disputes. 
 

OTHER SERVICES

The practice is based on clients' needs.  If you need help with something which falls outside current practice areas, we will try to refer you to someone reliable who can assist you.

DIRECTIONS

Our office is located in the City Space Tower of the Renaissance Hotel.

 

Parking is across Commerce Street in the Nashville Public Library Parking Garage, which we validate. 

 

The Renaissance Hotel has two sets of elevators, the first serving the hotel, floors 1 - 25 and the second serving the office suits on the top 6 floors, 26 - 31.  The office space elevators are located on the 3rd floor in a glass enclosed lobby.

 

To get to the 3rd floor, use the hotel elevator or escalator in the main lobby or the walking bridge on the 4th floor of the Nashville Public Library Parking Garage.
